Ema AlmonEMA ALMON is a Boston-based theatre practitioner absolutely delighted to be performing with WatermelonAlligator again for the first time in several years. She is a multi-award winning performer, most recently having won the Irene Ryan acting scholarship, the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival's highest regional honor for acting, which provided her an actor's residency in Washington DC and the chance to compete nationally; here, she also won the Mark Twain Scholarship for comic performance. Off-stage, she is a recent college graduate, a costumer, and a doting cat mom to her little baby Orpheus. She'd like to thank her friends and family, and Jess and Garrett for always keeping her in mind!

Tony FerreiraTONY FERREIRA is thrilled and humbled to be a cast member of this WatermelonAlligator Theatre Company (WATC) production, acting along with this outstanding and veteran cast! He most recently was the stage manager for WATC’s production of Donna Hoke’s riveting play, The Way It Is, and directed WATC’s production of the Tom Duzick’s holiday comedy, Miracle on South Division Street. Tony was last seen on-stage as Leonard in WATC’s production of Seminar and as the Devil’s Grandmother in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. A veteran of 50+ years of theatre in Southeastern Massachusetts, he has been fortunate to have played some tremendous roles, such as: Ben Franklin in 1776 with Little Theatre of Fall River; Friar Lawrence in Romeo & Juliet with The Glass Horse Project; Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof with the Gateway Players; Snoopy in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown with Your Theatre; Zorba in Zorba with the SMU Theatre Co.; and, Sir Danvers Carew in Jekyll & Hyde with New Bedford Festival Theatre. Tony wishes to express a very special thank you to Jess & Garrett for their continued support and confidence in his ability to contribute in a positive way to WATC! Tony dedicates this work, along with his entire theatre career, to his wife of 47 years, Rosemary, for all her love and support!

Ian RubinsteinIAN RUBINSTEIN is thrilled to return to the acting arena with his fellow WATC thespians. Performing Shakespeare’s classic works poses a wonderful challenge, and he can think of no better group than WATC for this venue. Ian’s former WATC roles have been Peter in Lopsided and Carter in Fat Pig, both in the Black Box at Cotuit Center for Arts. Some of his other acting endeavors have included Falmouth Theater Guild’s productions of Play It Again Sam (where he portrayed the character Allen), and Young Frankenstein (where he portrayed Dr. Frederick Frankenstein); Barnstable Comedy Club’s productions of The Game’s Afoot (where he portrayed William Gillette) and Pirates of Penzance (where his role was Major-General Stanley); Buzzards Play Production’s The Odd Couple (as Felix Unger) and The Rocky Horror Show (where he was seen as Brad Majors); and Plymouth Community Theater’s Twelve Angry Men (where he portrayed Juror 8). It is important to an actor to recognize his support structures that surround him, and Ian’s family is one that deserves special recognition. Their constant supportive enthusiasm is a wonderful ingredient to his acting career. His audiences are another contributor that deserve applause. Without them, all the world’s a stage that bears no witness…

Sue SalvesenOnce more into a summer of Shakespeare, dear friends, once more! The lady SUE SALVESEN is prepared: with dog-eared script, decked with penned notes and voice recorder on endless repeat, thy mistress shall summon the spirit for not one but two of this good Bard's blasts of bickering words (and awesome alliteration). Aye, on this self-same day will this fair lady perform these Scenes From Shakespeare, then again perform as Alonso, Queen of Italy, shipwrecked by The Tempest for the Company Reverie in New Bedford. Madness must o'ercome the lady ere the burnt leaves fly from the trees and Shakespeare shivers in the wicked winter. The lady Sue is privileged to be part of WatermelonAlligator Theatre Company, and wishes to bestow much thanks on Jess and Garrett for all of the opportunities to tread the boards!
